With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our dear colleague, dedicated emergency medical professional, and cherished friend, AEMT Autumn Rapp. Her sudden departure has left all of us reeling with grief, as we try to come to terms with the loss of someone who brought such compassion, commitment, and light to both her work and the lives of everyone around her.
Autumn was more than a skilled Advanced Emergency Medical Technician—she was a beacon of strength, empathy, and unwavering dedication to the communities she served. Her tireless work with Cranberry Township EMS, East Brady Ambulance, Karns City Regional Ambulance, and previously with Emlenton Ambulance was a testament to her deep sense of purpose and responsibility. For Autumn, this work was not merely a job—it was a calling. She gave herself fully, day in and day out, to the care of others in their most vulnerable moments.
Those who had the honor of working alongside Autumn knew her as someone who brought calm in the chaos, clarity in moments of uncertainty, and heartfelt kindness in every interaction. She had an incredible gift for making people feel safe and supported—both her patients and her colleagues alike. Whether responding to a medical emergency or simply offering a word of encouragement during a long shift, Autumn did it with sincerity, humility, and grace.
Autumn was the kind of person who never sought recognition for her efforts, though she was more than deserving of it. She showed up without complaint, carried out her responsibilities with excellence, and always placed others before herself. Her sense of humor, quiet strength, and thoughtful nature made her an irreplaceable part of our team, and more importantly, a true friend to so many.
Her passing leaves an unimaginable void—not only in our hearts but in the entire emergency services community. It is a reminder of the fragility of life and the preciousness of the bonds we share through our work and camaraderie. Autumn’s memory will live on in the stories we tell, the lives she helped save, and the example she set for those who continue to serve.
As we grieve this tremendous loss, we extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt support to Autumn’s family, friends, and all who knew her. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time, and as we all try to honor Autumn’s life and legacy in the days ahead.
We were truly fortunate to know Autumn not only as a capable and committed clinician, but also as a kind, genuine, and remarkable human being. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact was immeasurable, and her memory will forever be carried in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Autumn. Your service, friendship, and spirit will never be forgotten.
