ELKHART, Ind. — The Elkhart Police Department has identified the body recovered from the St. Joseph River on Thursday, July 17, 2025, as 50-year-old Anthony Null, a resident of Elkhart.
The discovery was made around 1:10 p.m. in the 300 block of East Beardsley Avenue, along the riverbank. Elkhart Police responded to the scene, and the Elkhart Fire Department assisted in retrieving the body from the water. The Elkhart County Homicide Unit was activated, per protocol, to lead the ongoing investigation into Null’s death.
