Colorado Springs Mourns the Tragic Loss of Kaegen “OO” Kirk – Break Out News

Colorado Springs, Colorado — A wave of heartbreak has swept across the Colorado Springs community as the devastating news has been confirmed: Kaegen Kirk, a beloved young boy who had recently gone missing, has been found deceased. The news has left family, friends, and neighbors in shock and mourning the loss of a child whose light and spirit touched all who knew him.

Kaegen was known affectionately as a “tiny tornado,” full of boundless energy, mischief, and laughter. His vibrant presence filled every room he entered, and he was truly the heartbeat of his home—his mother’s sidekick, her world, her everything.

In a powerful and deeply emotional message, Kaegen’s grieving mother shared her pain with raw honesty:

“I got called today, my sweet little boy, my tiny tornado, my little sidekick was taken away from me. Some piece of shit took my son away from me. I will never again see his beautiful blue eyes, his goofy smile, and that silly laugh that I pray stays with me. I will not watch him graduate, get married, and give me beautiful grandbabies. I keep looking at the door waiting for him to come in and be silly. ‘Momma did you miss me, do you want to rub my toes lol?’ He knew that I would say, ‘Get your stinky feet off me,’ and he would laugh. I should not be laying my sweet boy to rest. He should be grown and putting me to rest.”

The pain of Kaegen’s loss is unimaginable. His life was stolen far too soon, and the hole he leaves behind is one no words can fill. His beautiful blue eyes, his infectious giggle, and his gentle, silly soul will be missed every single day.

As the community mourns, there is an overwhelming outpouring of love and support for Kaegen’s family, especially his mother, who now carries the unimaginable burden of laying her child to rest.

We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time and continue to hold them in your thoughts and prayers.

Kaegen “OO” Kirk — you were taken too soon, but your light will never fade.
Rest peacefully, sweet boy. 🕊️💙
