Ebonee McNiel Killed in Double Homicide in Charlotte – Break Out News

With deep sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the tragic and senseless loss of 35-year-old Ebonee McNiel, who was killed on July 2, 2025, in a devastating act of domestic violence in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The incident occurred around noon at an apartment complex on Pebblestone Drive, where Ebonee and her boyfriend — with whom she shared children — got into an argument. During the altercation, the man fatally shot Ebonee before turning the gun on himself, all in front of their children.

Thankfully, the children were not physically harmed, but the emotional trauma of witnessing such a horrific event is unimaginable. Authorities responded swiftly, but both adults were pronounced dead at the scene.

Ebonee is remembered as a loving mother, a strong woman, and a gentle soul whose life was tragically cut short. Her death is yet another painful reminder of the dangers of domestic violence and the urgent need for awareness and resources for those at risk.
