OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. — The community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Forde McIver, a 20-year-old woman who tragically passed away following a serious crash near Seneca early Saturday morning.
According to the Oconee County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Armstrong Road and Brown Farm Road. McIver sustained critical injuries and was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries on Monday at 3:44 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
