A tragic two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Franklin man on Monday, July 14, in Walpole, Massachusetts, according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.
Spencer Reid, a 25-year-old resident of Franklin, was fatally injured in the collision and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The incident occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. near the intersection of East Street and Tanglewood Road.
Authorities report that Reid was operating a motorcycle when it collided with an SUV. The identity of the SUV driver has not been disclosed, and no charges or citations have been issued at this time.
The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, in collaboration with the Walpole Police Department and Mansfield Police Department, is actively investigating the cause of the crash. Further details regarding the circumstances of the collision have not been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
