In Loving Memory of Drake Isaac Tallman

With profound sadness, the community of Maquoketa, Iowa, mourns the passing of Drake Isaac Tallman, who left this world far too soon on July 1, 2025, at just 18 years old. In their short but deeply meaningful life, Drake touched countless hearts with a quiet strength, compassionate soul, and a light that will never be forgotten.

Drake will be remembered for their kind and thoughtful nature — someone who embraced others with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine spirit. Whether in the classroom, among friends, or within the family circle, Drake brought joy, humor, and a unique perspective to every conversation and moment shared.

They were a bright presence in the Maquoketa community — thoughtful, creative, and deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing them. Their legacy lives on in the memories made, the love shared, and the impact left on friends, teachers, neighbors, and family alike.

Drake is survived by their loving parents, Bret and Sarah Tallman (Woodrum), and their beloved siblings, Syfer and Rinoa Tallman, all of whom carry their memory forward with enduring love and pride.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Drake’s life will be held on July 11, 2025, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Family, friends, classmates, and members of the community are invited to come together, share stories, and remember the beauty of Drake’s life.

In the face of unimaginable loss, the Tallman family extends heartfelt thanks for the support and compassion that has poured in from near and far. The strength of a community bound by love and grief is a reminder of how deeply Drake was cherished.
