Laurinburg, North Carolina, With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Miss Shante Dawn Moore, who departed this life on July 5 2025, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, entering into their eternal rest.
Shante was known for their vibrant spirit, kind heart, and the unmistakable joy they brought to everyone around them. Whether through a smile, a thoughtful gesture, or their unwavering support for loved ones, Shante left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing them.
Though their time here was far too short, the love and light Shante shared will continue to live on. In a beautiful tribute to their memory, a memorial tree has been planted—standing as a living symbol of Shante’s enduring presence in the lives of family, friends, and the Laurinburg community.
Service arrangements are currently incomplete, but loved ones are invited to share condolences, cherished memories, and reflections during this period of remembrance. In grief, we find strength through community, and in memory, we find comfort in the life that was lived so fully.
