A tragic incident occurred on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, where a pedestrian was struck and killed by multiple vehicles. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, on the northbound side of the freeway near the Exposition Boulevard exit. The pedestrian, who attempted to run across the freeway, was hit by at least two and possibly three vehicles, according to CHP Officer Ramon Kendricks.
The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner has not publicly identified the pedestrian as Storm Davison or confirmed the age or gender, contrary to some reports. Authorities have withheld the victim’s identity pending further investigation and notification of next of kin. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Debris from the collision was scattered across several lanes, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sigalert and temporarily close all northbound lanes at Exposition Boulevard to investigate the crash. The closures caused significant traffic delays in the area.
Officers detained and questioned the drivers of the vehicles potentially involved, including the driver of a red Dodge Ram who remained at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led the pedestrian to attempt crossing the freeway.
