A tragic accident occurred early Sunday morning on Oxon Hill Road, resulting in the death of 57-year-old Percell Jerome Veney Jr. from Alexandria, Virginia. The incident took place at approximately 12:55 a.m. on October 26, 2025, in the 6300 block of Oxon Hill Road.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, Veney was driving westbound when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle veered into the eastbound turning lane and collided with another car. Veney was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, an adult woman, was transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.
