Wyllyam James Sheffey Jr., 20, Discovered Fatally Wounded in Vehicle at Painesville Intersection—Authorities Investigating Saturday Night Shooting on North State Street
A late Saturday evening turned tragic in Painesville, Ohio, when Wyllyam James Sheffey Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Ashtabula, was found with fatal gunshot wounds inside his car. The incident occurred near the intersection of North State Street and Rockwood Drive around 7:59 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement after multiple reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, police discovered Sheffey Jr. in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. Despite rapid efforts from emergency medical personnel, he was unresponsive and declared deceased at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
