In Loving Memory of Kendrick (Ken) Daniel Jackson
February 29, 2008 – June 14, 2025
With broken hearts and unimaginable sorrow, we announce the passing of Kendrick “Ken” Daniel Jackson, age 17, of Albany, Oregon. Ken tragically lost his life in a car accident during the early hours of June 14, 2025, just outside Lebanon, Oregon. A vibrant soul taken far too soon, Ken leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep connections that touched everyone lucky enough to know him.
Born on February 29, 2008, Ken was our very special leap year baby — a rare gift whose heart was just as unique as his birthday. He lived his 17 years with immense spirit, passion, and a zest for life that radiated wherever he went. Though young, his life was rich with friendships, unforgettable memories, and unwavering love for his family.
Ken was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his loving mother and step-father, Kelsi and Derek Snider; his devoted father, Ben Jackson; his proud brothers, Karter, Keilan, and Kyler; his sweet baby sister, Khloe; and his adoring grandparents, Kim and Julie Jackson. He also leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, teammates, and cherished friends who will always hold him close in their hearts.
Ken had a passion for baseball, where his talent and team spirit stood out on the field. He found joy in gaming, paintballing, and fishing, always up for an adventure and never without that contagious grin. With his beautiful smile, warm heart, and lively energy, Ken brought light to the lives around him. He was someone who could make you laugh in an instant and make you feel seen and valued without trying. He truly had so much more to give to this world.
While nothing can ease the pain of losing Ken, we find peace knowing that he is now in the embrace of our Lord and Savior. His faith, though quiet, was deeply felt and will continue to comfort those who mourn his passing.
As our family tries to navigate this devastating loss, we are humbly reaching out to our community for love, support, and prayers. We were unprepared for the financial burden of funeral expenses and would be grateful for any donations to help us give Ken the memorial he so deeply deserves—a meaningful farewell, surrounded by the people who loved him most.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring us one step closer to honoring Ken’s life in the way he truly deserves. But more than anything, your prayers, kind words, and memories mean the world to us in this time of grief.
Details regarding a celebration of life and memorial service will be shared in the coming days. We invite all who knew and loved Ken to come together in his memory.
Rest peacefully, Ken.
You will forever be our leap year miracle, our shining light, and our angel in the outfield. We love you always.
