On June 16, authorities formally identified the deceased as Andree’ Mosley Jr., a recent graduate of Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware. Mosley had been a proud member of the Cape Henlopen Vikings football team, where he was admired for both his athletic talent and his uplifting spirit.

Investigation and Arrest
Through a swift investigation led by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit, authorities determined that the shooting stemmed from a heated altercation that took place at the home of a woman who had invited the group over. The confrontation reportedly began when an argument erupted between 25-year-old Marcus Harris and the victims. The woman eventually asked Mosley and the other two men to leave the home.
As they were preparing to do so, a physical fight broke out between Harris and Mosley, during which Harris allegedly retrieved a firearm and opened fire. Mosley was fatally struck, and the two other men were injured. The woman, whose identity has not been released, was unharmed in the incident.
Police launched a manhunt for Harris, who was later apprehended and has since been charged with multiple felonies, including first-degree murder, assault, and weapons offenses. He is currently being held in custody pending a court appearance.
