John, the beloved owner of Iachetti’s Kitchen in Glen Rock, New Jersey, died on June 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of passion, hospitality, and heart. He was 58 years old.

Born and raised in Paramus, New Jersey, John attended Paramus High School before pursuing his passion for food at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. His training laid the foundation for a lifelong career devoted to creating unforgettable dining experiences and building strong connections with every guest who walked through his doors.

John’s professional journey took him through various esteemed roles, including serving as the Entertainment Director at Loews Hotels. His dedication and leadership extended beyond hospitality, as he also held the position of President at Titanium Entertainment and worked as a trusted business consultant in the entertainment and food industries. His unique blend of creativity and business acumen set him apart, inspiring many along the way.

In 2018, John realized a lifelong dream by opening Iachetti’s Kitchen, a warm, welcoming neighborhood restaurant in Glen Rock. With a menu rooted in fresh ingredients and bold flavors, John’s cooking brought joy to countless families and friends. But it was more than just the food — it was the experience. John’s presence made everyone feel like family. He greeted regulars by name, cracked jokes with new patrons, and always found time to ask how someone’s day was going. His genuine warmth created a loyal following and made Iachetti’s Kitchen a community staple.

John’s impact reached far beyond his restaurant walls. He was known for his generosity, often supporting local charities, school events, and fellow small business owners. Whether donating meals to frontline workers, helping organize community fundraisers, or mentoring aspiring chefs, John’s heart was as big as his culinary talent.

He is survived by his beloved wife, whose love and support were central to John’s life and success, along with a wide circle of family members, friends, colleagues, and devoted patrons who will forever cherish the memories they made with him.

A celebration of John’s life and legacy will be announced in the coming days. The Iachetti’s Kitchen team asks for privacy for the family during this difficult time but encourages the community to honor John’s memory by sharing stories, supporting one another, and continuing the spirit of kindness he so effortlessly embodied.

In every dish he served, every laugh he shared, and every heart he touched, John Iachetti left an indelible mark. He will be deeply missed — not just as a chef and businessman, but as a man who made the world a better place, one plate and one person at a time.
