Dallas, TX – Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday at the Motel 6 located off I-35 and Ledbetter Drive in South Dallas.
According to Dallas police, multiple gunshots were fired outside the motel just before midnight. Emergency crews arrived to find at least one individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim’s condition has not yet been officially released, though sources at the scene report that CPR was being administered.
Witnesses say chaos unfolded quickly as guests scrambled for safety. “It was terrifying. We just heard popping sounds and everyone started running,” one motel guest shared.
Police have not released information about a suspect at this time, and no arrests have been made. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the motel and surrounding businesses to determine what led up to the shooting.
