Grand Rapids, MI, The memory of Andrew Swanson, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 16, will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Though his time with us was far too short, Andrew’s life was marked by deep kindness, quiet strength, and a joy that radiated through every room he entered.
Andrew was a beloved son to Chuck and Faith Swanson and a devoted brother to CJ. He was a loyal friend, a cherished family member, and a young man whose gentle spirit and generous heart touched many in the Grand Rapids community and beyond. Whether on the soccer field, in the classroom, or simply spending time with loved ones, Andrew brought thoughtfulness, laughter, and light into the lives around him.
Visitation will be held on July 10th and 11th, with a funeral service to celebrate Andrew’s life on July 11th at Ada Bible Church. All who knew and loved Andrew are invited to join in honoring his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that remembrances be made to South Christian High School’s Foundation Fund or AYSO United—two organizations that played meaningful roles in Andrew’s life.
Though Andrew is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him deeply. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with abiding love.
