WYOMING, Ohio — The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Wyoming, Ohio, as 15-year-old Jaymir Deshea Hill. Jaymir’s life was tragically cut short on Wednesday afternoon, following a violent incident that has left the community shaken.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and the Wyoming Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the intersection of Burns and Washington Avenues around 3:49 p.m. on July 9. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Jaymir suffering from a gunshot wound to the left shoulder.
He was immediately transported to UC Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident. Witnesses reported that multiple suspects fled the scene on foot. No arrests have been announced at this time.
